Our Story
Founded in 2024 by partners Catalina and Daniel, Mino is a design philosophy that playfully reimagines classical forms, transforming timeless design motifs into whimsical creations that elevate both pet and home. More than mere accessories, Mino’s collections are thoughtfully curated objets d’art crafted to transport you and evoke another time and place.
Daniel studied architecture at the University of California, Berkeley and went on to earn his Masters of Architecture from Yale University. His professional path led him through intricate historical preservation projects, including the restoration of a National Historic Landmark Greek Revival mansion in the American South, where he collaborated with preeminent preservationists and classical interior designers who share his reverence for architectural heritage.
Catalina studied interior design at Parsons School of Design in New York City before receiving a Masters of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture. Her professional experience spans high-end residential projects that blend traditional and contemporary aesthetics, from a gothic revival estate to her own modern classic home in Los Angeles.

Meet Mino, the spirited muse and namesake behind the brand. Immersed in art and architecture from his upbringing, Mino’s keen eye (and sharper nose) for timeless design developed early. Today, Mino channels his creative genius into prototyping new collections and diligently testing every pet good to ensure they meet his exacting standards.
